PRODUCT INFORMATION

Triangular openwork sail for hanging. Suitable for gardens, terraces, balconies, and can be attached to various supports: walls, posts, trees, etc. thanks to its 3 attachment loops. The Coco Robusta hanging sail is designed to last and offer better protection from the sun. It is particularly suitable for southern regions or areas exposed to wind.

Installation system
Recommended mounting height: minimum 2.80 m & minimum 3 m for areas larger than 10 m2.
The size of the sail chosen must be at least 50 cm smaller than the area to be shaded in order to achieve good tension.
Loops already equipped with thimbles for easy installation.
Required accessories: 10 meters of rope with a diameter of 1 cm to create the attachments at the fixing points. Please note that depending on the configuration of the area to be shaded, you may need more rope.
It is recommended to double the rope at the attachment point to make it easier to tension the sail at the corners.
The use of specific hardware sets is strongly recommended for the installation of this model, in particular the use of stainless steel cables. See installation guide.

Maintenance
No special maintenance is required. However, whenever possible, it is strongly advisable to store the shade in a dry, well-ventilated place away from rodents during the low season.

Weather info
– When in contact with water, the coconut fiber weave relaxes, the shade cloth becomes heavier, doubling in weight, then returns to its initial tension once dry. This is how the fiber reacts to moisture.
– In regions prone to snowfall, it is strongly recommended to winterize the coconut shade cloth to prevent any potential damage.
– For large shade cloths, we recommend installing cables under the fabric to support the weight of the shade cloth or providing accessories such as carabiners to facilitate installation and removal of the fabric.
– During prolonged periods of drought, it is advisable to mist or wet the shade cloth from time to time to extend its life. Coconut fiber prefers a slightly humid climate.
– Finally, coconut fiber naturally grays over time, taking on a silvery hue that adds rustic charm. This change in appearance does not affect its effectiveness.

We are very satisfied with the product, impressed by its minimal wind resistance and therefore the absence of unpleasant flapping despite the mistral wind. The edges and fastenings are of excellent quality; it's very sturdy. To make taking down the sail easier, we used carabiners which we attached to the anchor points.
