PRODUCT INFORMATION

Square or rectangular openwork sail for hanging, suitable for gardens, terraces and balconies thanks to 4 fixing points on different supports: walls, posts, trees.

Installation system
Recommended fixing height: 2.8 m. The chosen size must be at least 50 cm smaller than the space that need to be shaded.
Required accessories : 10 metres of 1 cm diameter rope. Please note that depending on the configuration of the area to be shaded, you may need more rope, so please consult the corresponding information to determine the required length. See installation guide.

Maintenance
No special maintenance is required. However, whenever possible, it is strongly advisable to store the shade in a dry, well-ventilated place away from rodents during the low season.

Weather info
On contact with water, the weave of the coir fibre relaxes, the shade sail becomes heavier, doubling in weight, and then regains its initial tension once dry. In regions prone to snowfall, it is strongly recommended to winterize the coco sail to prevent any potential damage. In periods of prolonged drought, it is advisable to mist or wet the shade from time to time to prolong its life. Coir prefers a slightly tropical climate. Finally, coir naturally greys over time, taking on a silvery hue that adds a rustic charm. This change in appearance does not affect its efficiency.

We are very satisfied with the product, impressed by the low wind resistance and therefore no unpleasant flapping despite the mistral. Good quality edges and fasteners, it's sturdy. To dismantle the sail more easily, we used carabiners that we attached to the anchor points.
