Installing my multiple-point attachment shade sail to hang

To install this model, we strongly recommend the use of stainless steel cables and turnbuckles to ensure solid, durable installation and better tensioning.

1 Pass each reinforced loop through the cable, on all 4 sides.

2 Connect the corner loops independently to the 4 attachment points. Make sure there is a minimum distance of 25 cm on either side between the corner of the shade sail and each attachment point.
Example: for a 3x4m shade sail, you will need to allow for 3.5 x 4.5 m so that your shade sail has optimum tension.

3 Then fix your cables to your attachment points : wall fixings, posts, etc. using turnbuckles.

Note : When this model is installed on a pergola, its dimensions must be adjusted to those of the pergola. To do this, simply fold back the loops and secure the shade sail with the rope all around.
To do this, refer to the installation of the dense coconut shade sail cloth for pergola.

Good to know Weight of standard density shade sail : 1.2 kg/m² dry and 2.4 kg/m² wet. Make sure you take all these factors into account when choosing your attachment points !

Important Do not use plastic cable ties to attach your shade sail ; this will prematurely wear out the rope and can quickly cause it to break.

Important When the sunshade is installed, the support ropes that cross it must be turned downwards, as they are there to support the shade sail structure.

As with the 4-point attachment coco shade sail, it is important to follow certain guidelines for installation.

1/ Firstly, the attachment points must be in line with the grid pattern reinforcement rope & loops.
2/ Next, the cables must be parallel to the shade sail.
3/ Finally, ensure that all loops are secured, leaving none out, while making sure that the corner loops are attached separately.

Note Coconut fiber relaxes when it gets wet; after the first rains, you may need to slightly tighten your fabric again, once or twice.

Installation materials for multiple-point attachment coco shade sail to hang :

Pre-installed heart shaped thimbles on each loop.

They allow cables and ropes to slide more easily through the attachment loops to suspend the sail and also protect the inside of the loop from wear.
